Would you help me find a nice dress please?

I'm going out with a group of friends a couple of times over Christmas/New Year to the theatre etc.

I do have one nice dress, but I've already worn in out quite a lot, so something else would be nice :)

Just realised, telling you the sort of the things I'm looking for may be helpful!

I'd like something that shows off my waist, about knee length and probably with sleeves.

Sort of 1950's style I suppose, like in Bewitched.
