Help needed! Which colour for this bag?

I have been slightly obsessed with this bag for ages and have finally put in an order (please no one mention customs !).

I ordered the dark brown, but am now having second thoughts - this is supposed to be my investment bag so can't afford to buy another (or anything else at all, for that matter). Would black or tan or grey be better? I have a black coat at the moment but am hoping to buy a navy one soon. I have tan knee boots and black ankle ones if that makes any difference.

Please advise, I trust you lot more than my DH (and besides he's not allowed to know about the bag anyway)

Like the dark brown best, it seems to have the most depth of colour iyswim. For some reason the zips look really bright on the black which doesn't appeal to me, although it could just be the lighting.

Tan is ok, looks a bit orange. Personally I really dislike grey bags (don't know why because I like grey a lot generally). I think grey bags will fall out of fashion so may date too if you plan on keeping it for a while.

Definitely the dark brown.... or caramel as the hardware seems to look better. Grey and gold looks a bit odd. The black is nice but I don't do black bags at all.

yes think I will rule out the grey. I think the Caramel is just appealing at the moment as I like the Mulberry Oak Alexa, but I think i'd get bored of it quickly.
