Help me find something to wear with this dress

I have bought this dress for a party I am going to. Looks ok, wasn't expensive so was ideal!

Problem is that I am quite pale, and not in a nice glamorous way, almost white and blotchy at the top of my arms and need something to cover my shoulders/top of arms. I will probably brave it and take it off at some point during the night (when I have had a few drinks!) but need it for the first half of night.

What shall I wear with it? I have seen a sequined type jacket but it is waterfall style and not sure it would suit. Do you think a bolero or a wrap?

Can't help - but I love that dress

I wouldn't go for anything as structured as a jacket (and def not sequinned, would be too much with the tassels/fringing).

Think a wrap or pashmina would be the better bet.

Lovely dress too.

Taffeta

Lovely shape

In fact, there are loads of different options on the Debs site.

You may feel more secure wearing a bolero or cover-up rather than a pashmina, although a pashmina could work as long as you're not clinging to it like a security blanket Grin

Thanks ladies.

I think I would feel a bit better wearing a bolero, but am now liking the idea of a pashmina. Do you think just a plain black one? And how do I wear it? I am not normally a pashmina person!
