I'm trying to find a pair for my 4yo son - I don't want anything nylon-y and/involving cartoon characters/novelty shapes/dinosaurs. Is my search doomed?

I just bought these

DS only started wearing them on friday so I can't comment on durability but they seem fine, bit 1950's though.

Thanks for your suggestions - unfortunately the only ones I really like tend to the ones that cost north of #20...

I've just bought these for DS at £7.

They're fleeced but they look v comfy.

5DollarShake wins with the #7 JJMMBB slippers (there's a branch down the road but they tend to be pricey, I find).

Many thanks for all the suggestions.

I have had trouble getting DS 5 to wear any slippers, but I got him these and he loves them.

OhBuggerandArse · 22/11/2010 20:27

Lovely sheepskin ones here - DS has the top ones and really loves them.

OsbegaEthewulf - i LOVE the ones in your last link...

I liked the sueded fleece bootee ones- look nice and snuggly.

lalalonglegs If you have a LIDL near you it's worth signing up for emails from them; They often have wool bootees and slippers in which are fantastic and less than a fiver. DS has a pair in a lovely fair isle style pattern and I'm certain they were only £3.99
