what's the best cashmere cardi ?

I have the Uniqlo cashmere merino mix ones. Bought one and loved it so much I now have three. Good colours too. The camel is great.

I ordered one of those a few weeks ago and found it to be too thin.
It was the merino cashmere long v-neck one.

It isn't thick, you're right. I like the thinness but take your point.

I've been looking for a cashmere rollneck but no joy from JL, Pure Collection, Jaeger, M&S if that helps.

Do you have a TK Maxx nearby? I've picked up some good quality knitwear from there (including 'designer' brands) for reasonable prices. Can be a bit hit and miss, though, depending upon what stock they have in...

oh and fwiw I also have a uniqlo merino/cashmere cardi in navy, in a fine cable knit. i was a bit disappointed because it bobbled quite easily, but it is a nice length, good for layering and warm enough for the thickness.

Hi ggirl - yes that one is a bit granny - have you looked at the v-necks instead?

I haven't been in the uniqlo store in ages so can't vouch for this year's collection. The one I got last year was a crew neck but shorter in the body and fine cable knit so didn't look granny iykwim. Good luck with the hunt!
