best nursing bras

I would be really interested to know which nursing bras people think are the best - comfy, easy to open at the front, etc. I've been advised that the NCT shop ones are the best, but I think they're terribly expensive. Any thoughts? Thanks.

IMO, after feeding 3 babies for 9+ months each, Elle Mcpherson Maternelle - well worth investing in.

The original 'Emma Jane' ones, cotton with easy to open drop cups. Very supportive and quite flattering. I also like the Elle McPherson Maternelle, but the Emma Jane ones pip them to the post, IMHO

I've fed 3 babies for a total period of 4.5 years, currently expecting No 4 in March next year.

Try ebay, you can get new and used ones there. If in good condition the used ones can be a bargain, if you're not worried about having brand new.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, ladies. Brands I'd never heard of, but will certainly look into.

I really didn't get on with my Emma Jane one, sorry! It seemed not to have any stretch under the boobs and would rise up - and cups were very chunky and thick fabric.

Maybe in a bigger bust it would be helpful but I preferred the Mothercare own ones in the pack of two, actually.

The best ones I have had are by Hotmilk and are really fantastic. Could only afford in massive sale situation though!

Have not tried Elle Mac ones.

I like the Bravado feeding bra that looks almost like a sports bra.

I also know people who love Hot Milk stuff.

I've think finding the right one is a very personal thing, so take your time before you choose, then when you find one you like - buy a few of them!

If it counts, am currently feeding a 3 and a half year old who is my second child Smile

and may I just add a warning not to buy the ones with zips. For reasons you can probably imagine

I think they have these in France more than over here.
