Dry shampoo

Reading in the morning grooming thread about dry shampoo.

Can anyone recommend one? Does it really work?

My hair is oily and I am so paranoid that I look hideous unless i wash it every day. If I could get away with doing it the night before it would make a massive difference.

Thanks.

My DSD uses it and it looks fine, makes your hair look a bit matte, but good for slightly dishevelled styles.

Why can't you just wash your hair every day?

purplearmadillo · 19/11/2010 20:10

i do wash it every day but its a pain, so hoping for an alternative...

The tresemme one is good - have also used Lee Stafford which I was less impressed with

Batiste.

It does work in that your hair doesn't look greasy but it doesn't give it that shiny fresh washed looked. Good for back-combing or messy styles though.

Thanks, will try both I think. Does boots sell them?!

I have dark hair and use the Batiste for brunettes one, it gives it volume and mattifies it a bit as well as degreasing. Much better than the white ones if you are dark, but can only get it in larger branches of Boots (I order it online to pick up at local small branch).
