Have bought this dress for cocktails and dinner at Soho House. The photo on the website does it no justice at all. It looks like a shapeless sack on the site but it is a lot closer fitting and finishes mid-thigh-ish. It's a really stunning shade of green - vibrant and rich.
The woman in the store suggested bare legs and peep toe shoes. Having posted on here yesterday, and reading similar posts today, the consensus appears to be that this is a sartorial no-no in December. My preference would be black opaques and either black patent heels or suede shoeboots.
However, have also seen some Wolford sheer barely-there tights which apparently give your legs a great appearance 
. So these could be an alternative with say some fab gold shoes?
