New wardrobe

For Xmas, I have booked DD(13) in with a debenhams personal shopper, as she is desperate for some new clothes. I am desperate to avoid the usual trailing round the shops for hours!

I will be getting her a gift card, probably for £100 and I know she is getting vouchers elsewhere, so it may go up to one fifty to two hundred.

What are opinions on the essentials to get please? How many tops compared to bottoms etc. She won't wear skirts so tends to live in jeans, so I am hoping that she will see how to dress them up (hmm)

No suggestions as I have only sons - but what a wonderful present! If she gets the right ideas now she will look wonderful and save ££££ over the years on poor choices.

thanks higgle, that is my thinking also. her wardrobe is filled with items she has never worn, or only worn once but found she didnt like them.

The shopper lady seems lovely, i have had a good chat with her, and explained about DDs trouble with fiddly fasteners etc, so she is going to find some easy to put on and off thingsSmile
