I'm looking for a great pair of comfortable, smart looking boots in good leather - would love some inspiration, so which ones are you all wearing?

www.clarks.co.uk/find/department-is-women/producttype-is-boots/subproducttype-is-kneehighboots/product-is-20341377

They are super comfy and worth every penny!

brimfull · 18/11/2010 19:53

these, so comfy

Decorhate · 18/11/2010 19:58

I got Clarks boots too

these

They are more casual though, but good with skinny jeans or leggings & casual skirts.

I also got some higher ankle/shoe boots from M&S but tbh am finding it hard to find clothes to wear with them!

I've been looking for boots as well. I had been looking at these but I wasn't sure if they were maybe a bit frumpy? They sounded quite practical. I love those Mascapone Mix boots that Meggles linked to, they look fab!

SilverSixpence · 19/11/2010 20:19

Those Mascapone ones look great, my problem is that being short, most knee boots look like i'm about to go riding. I've been looking for calf ones but they don't seem to be around much this year.

I got these hush puppies in camel last year and like them so much I got them in black this year.

TwentiethCenturyHeffa · 24/11/2010 10:15

I bought the Mascapone ones and love them. They're gorgeous, quite casual looking, very comfortable.

I've bought these, they are really comfy and I love them. Also have Uggs and some black riding boots that I bought last year and didn't wear.

Camellia from Duo.

LetThemEatCake · 24/11/2010 14:38

these

worth every penny, comfy, warm, really pleased with them. Get loads of lovely comments on them too

sparkle1977 · 24/11/2010 15:28

I have these and also these cheaper ones. I LOVE both equally! Would buy more boots in a second if DH would allow as I just adore boots.

SilverSixpence · 24/11/2010 17:07

My DH is complaining as his internet pages always have an ad in them which is about boots :D so he knows what I've been looking at.

I couldn't decide which to go for but in the end got these ones because the Quidco + ebay voucher combo made them relatively cheap. But not sure what they will go with as most of my wardrobe goes more with black/grey. I might end up returning for the black ones instead will see.

Silversixpence - I am short too but found the clarks ones don't come up too high on me and the chunky heel gives me a bit of height

ItalianLady · 24/11/2010 20:32

I have these and also some similar ones in black that I can't find on the website anymore. I think they were from the Limited Edition collection.

EldonAve · 28/11/2010 08:00

I have bought these colour is better in RL than online

I really want these ugg broome

biryani · 28/11/2010 14:48

I've bought a fab leather wedge heel pair from Tesco. They're in black or brown. I couldn't take them off, they were so comfy, so when they went to the cobbler last week I bought...another pair of wedge heeled boots form Tesco at £25!! So warm, and I can wear these around the house too. My other pair is a Marksies' pair that make me look a bit like Madam Whiplash, but I love them anyway.
