i am 3 weeks post partum ie at the annoying in between stage between maternity clothes still fitting, and getting back into my old gear. i'd like some black or charcoal wide legged comfy trousers in the meantime. i did see some online at sweaty betty - can anyone recommend these or any others? am 5'9 and currently probably a size 16 around the hips.

www.meandem.co.uk their roll-top pants are lovely - I have 3 pairs bought in their sales and I just love lounging in them.

M&S also have cashmere trackie bottoms and hoody for £100 each. They have rave reviews.

gosh laurie they are lovely, but a bit more ££ than i've got. especially as i hope to be a dress size smaller in the not too distant future

Nike do very nice ones. Yoga specialist shops online too. Can't remember name where mine are from - Soma or something.

Great as they'll fit once you've lost some babay weight.

I lived in these and SPG10 gets 20% off.

I posted for yoga clothes tips the other day and got sent to TKMaxx where, as promised, there were loads of yoga pants, and very cheap. Most were plain black, or nearly.

thanks all. tracey those look good, and i'd rather buy online - are they a decent length?

ditto TK Maxx.

They do some very nice Calmia yoga trews in my local one which are normally £60, can get them for about £25 or less in the Maxx. They are lovely jersey, heavy enough not to look like pjs and nice and soft. They also stay up and have a nice bit of stretch in them.

Well I'm only 5ft so they're long on me Grin

If you do happen to go near a Sainsbury's, their Tu ones are lovely and comfy and pretty cheap. They do in a longer length too

I've got some from White Stuff which worked well

PaulineMole · 17/11/2010 18:33
