I need your help.

What would you wear with this sultry glitter dress?

The patterned bit it gold.

It's for a fancy christmas party for DB's work.

Would nice red shoes go? What tights?

Your link doesn't work.

traceybath · 17/11/2010 17:47

What are you going as if its fancy dress? Very glam dress - if red shoes I'd go for bare legs [brrrrr] or black opaques and high suede shoeboots.

overmydeadbody · 17/11/2010 19:00

Fancy dress?
Sad

i think tracey mis-read your post as fancy dress christmas party not fancy christmas party overmydeadbody

i like the dress but not sure about red shoes agree with tracey about high suede shoe boots and black tights.

traceybath · 17/11/2010 19:20

Oh god I did Blush

And I couldn't for the life of me think what you were going as because its such a nice dress Grin

LetThemEatCake · 17/11/2010 19:22

no no to red shoes. Yes yes red lippy!

agree with others, black opaques high shoe boots.

Romanarama · 17/11/2010 19:41

I can't see the dress, but do what cake and tracey say, they're never wrong.

40deniertights · 17/11/2010 21:10

fwiw agree about shoeboots in suede

maryjane71 · 17/11/2010 21:26

M&S do a fab pair of suede shoeboots for £49, very comfy too

overmydeadbody · 18/11/2010 16:33

ooh thank you!

I have never heard of shoe boots but off to google the M&S ones.

Am so relieved tracy misunderstood me, I thought you meant it was a silly dress only suitable for fancy dress Blush

Will shoe boots make cankles look worse or better?

They're the ones I've got Vin. Very flattering and v v comfortable. Best with opaques so you can get away with a shorter dress/skirt.

maryjane71 · 18/11/2010 22:27

Over, just had a look at your link. They are lovely but no reviews yet on the M&S site, so they must be new. Read the reviews for the others but ignore the sizing suggestions.
