i have really nice gloves but hate wearing them when driving but the mornings have been so cold i need to wear something.

ideally would love a pair of cashmere fingerless gloves but the ones that come halfway up the finger as opposed to not at all IYSWIM?

haven't even bothered looking at the Bora website as i'm sure i wont' be able to afford it so any other ideas??

Brora. You know you want to.

If it makes you feel any better, the brora ones don't last, lovely though they are. And for £50 a throw, you really don't want to be darning them within three months.

'Wristwarmers' is the word you need to google. Monsoon have a good selection (though not cashmere) as do Muji. The Muji oness were quite soft (was trying them on in store today). Otherwise I can recommend someone who knits to order, if you want?

marks do them in several colours, bought some for my sister last chrimbo
toasty

I find the marks ones a bit too slight - just a hole for the thumb and quite low on the fingers, so not quite warm enough

I've got a pair of these which are very nice and a bit cheaper than the Brora ones, though not quite such good cashmere - I like the ribs

I got a nice pair from Matalan. Quite thick made and a decent length up the arm. Cream, charcoal and a wee stripe of glitter. Only prob with them is that they smell cheap. But I am hoping a quick hand wash with perfumed washing powder will solve that.

not sure that cashmere is best suited for the purpose...p'raps leather driving?
