Thinking of having all mine lopped off as its in poor condition ,full of grey , and bereft of style . However im not blessed in the style and beauty stakes and it has to be hygeinically tidy for work and wondered if im going to curse if i do it ?

I find shorter hair much easier to manage, but mine is quite fine, so seems to have extra body when short. Just had mine all cut off mainly so easier and more professional for work. Very pleased with it. Still can tuck it behind my ears, then kind if flicks out a bit.

I think longer hair is easier. I have always had longer hair and could wash, blowdry and it's all done. I had it all cut off in the summer and i do like it but i have to wash it every day and the use hair straightners as it now has a weird curl in it!!

I am currently growing it until it's a bit heavier and goes straight without needing to use the hair straightners!!

I had mine chopped short in September. The minus is that I wake up every morning with it sticking all ways, so it's a wash and blow dry every day.

The pluses are that it dries and styles really quickly, and doesn't get in my face when I do stuff.

Mine is easier to manage when it is longer. It is curly so goes a bit mad/sticky out if it is too short.

mine is easier longer. i had a long bob for a while but it was a pain because i had to use straighteners every day.

depends how short, a friend has a very short style think that emma watson? the girl from harry potter, and she says its very quick to wash and style, but she has to get it cut more often, also i think you need a pretty face and petite features.

I had a bob and found it took age to style and get it all smooth, much prefer slightly longer hair that can be tied back when i have no time to faff in the mornings, which is every day with 3 children.

i have short hair which is very fine. To give it some oomf, I have it coloured (or bleached) which coarsens it and then hang upside down to dry it. Seems to work, and minimal faff.

Long hair is easier because you can tie it back. But it just isn't as stylish as short hair, imo.

I lobbed off my very long hair a few months ago (went for a long--ish bob), and I do have to spend longer on it in the morning (maybe 10 mins running straightening irons over it or curling it under with blowdrier and brush) but the result is so much more stylish and groomed looking than my long hair ever was.

It depends on your hair.

I have wavy curly hair and it's easier longer as I can just put some decent styling products in it and leave it dry curly. Short (I had it in a very short bob) it takes a lot of styling to get it to look good. But the end result was more polished looking.
