Having trouble finding a reasonably priced Christmas party dress (as I do every year), wondered what thoughts are on these two I quite like. Don't shop usually at either Miss Selfridge or Rise so wondered what quality is like.

this

and

this

Would wear with black opaque tights and high heel black patent shoes.

TIA

Love the colour of number one but not the bubble type hem.

Number two is nice though.

Quality won't be fab but should be fine for a few parties.

I much prefer the first one. Second one looks a bit cheap to me. Sorry Blush

Number 1 is lovely, short though Shock
But then I am very tall, and would be shpoing way too much leg in that dress!

Thanks, I like the first one, don't think it would be short on me (5 ft 3 in), it is a nice colour but now I don't know about the bubble type hem. There is another one very similar in Monsoon this which might be better.

I much prefer the first one, reckon the lace one you'll be hitching up all the time with that low back. Will look nice with opaques.

I've tried the Monsoon dress on, but in black. Quite nice actually!

I thought they were tops. Old woman moment.
