not sure what colour shoes

I bought a grey fine knitted dress from Oasis last year which was striped with bands of silver sequins (can't find pic as it was last year).

I wore it with black shoes/ boots last year but it didn't look quite right too heavy I think.

Have quite a few things to go to this Christmas and want to wear this as love the dress but not sure what to do about shoes/ tights...

It is kind of a charcoal grey (but not really really dark) with bands of silver sequins.

Any ideas?

what do you think, would plan to where with bright coloured opaques so I don't look too drab, like berry coloured or something...

any thoughts?
