Skinny baby what jeans/trousers?

My friends DD is 18 months, lovely little thing but is quite skinny and has no bum.
12-18 month clothes are the right length, but trousers just fall off her.
She'd probably be alright with about 6 nappies on Grin
She is living in tights and dresses, (and gap baby skinny jeans 6-12mth) and leggings.
Can anyone suggest what might be a good fit for her?

Any with adjustable waists - H&M or Jojo Maman Bebe are good for these.

Or cloth nappies Grin

Dungarees are ace in my book but I do sometimes worry my DD is dressed like a 90's lesbian! (no offence intended to gay posters btw) :)

John Lewis have adjustable waists, but it does look like they have an enormous bum (fortunately she'll be too young to care) while they stay on at the waist, same with Next. I found Monsoon jeggings fitted my slim DD well and looked nice, and as you've mentioned Gap, but a lot of dresses and tights here too

Thank you all.
We are going shopping soon. Smile

Vertbaudet, La Redoute.

Their cuts are for slimmer children. And on top of that, you can buy jeans/trousers that are 'slim cut' as opposed to 'regular cut'. And their waists are adjustable.

Only buy Vertbaudet during the sales. La Redoute is better priced all year round.

Zara are very slim cut- had same problem with DD.

Zara and Monsoon are cut slim. Same issue with my dd.

be thankful her dc is a girl..at least she can wear dresses! Also dungaree's, leggings? Agree that monsoon are a good fit as are gap.

Anything continental - La Redoute etc. Seem to be much slimmer/smaller cut. Or George at Asda!

Leggings are great on skinny babes, though, DD1 lived in them. DD2, altogether sturdier, looked awful!
