AllSaints sizing

I'm thinking of ordering a coat online from AllSaints but have never bought from them before so no idea of sizing. I'm usually a size 12 but tried on a coat in Zara and the Large wouldn't even do up! The coats and jackets I already have are all 12 or Medium.
Can anyone help? Should I size up or go for a 12?!
Thanks :)

The sizing's OK if you are a sick! I think they are a little on the small size for dresses, have never tried a coat on though.

I tried on a dress (size 10, I'm slightly curvy), I couldn't fasten it up below the waist as in alot! The sales assistant admitted that their sizes were odd. I do suggest you try the coat on.

I actually find their sizes massive. A 6 in there is more like a 10 and none of the clothes look right. Always really baggy. Not that 'loose and draped in a cool way' look which you see on the models. Just oddly big in areas such as the shoulders.

Perhaps they look better on taller people. I don't know. I'm always disappointed by it though.

I always thought that everyone thought it was big! Was pretty amazed when the stuff was quite small on my partner.

I find it about the same as the whistles sizing really. Any skirts/trousers are going to be unbelievably big on my waist and they always look as though there is too much material around my shoulders. I look like a little girl dressing up. Very annoying.

I find the sizes quite good for me and true to size - I am a 10.
