rain = tights and boots - tights dry quicker than trousers innit

all you ladies that let your jeans drag in the puddles - WHY??? tis very strange

SO,as well as tights (thick and grey) and boots (rocket dogs ), i am also wearing:
purple tartan miniskirt
grey longsleeved tshirt
purple cardy with pink and green edges
and about to go and add a pink pashmina and possibly a green jumper as well as the heating has just gone off and i have muchos computos workus to do

Deffo tights and boots.

Today I wore:

brown knee high boots (with thick socks as well);
grey marl tights;
grey just above the knee jersy pencil skirt;
grey v neck jumper (with thermal t-shirt underneath because I was outside for most of the day);
blue trench;
grey pashmina.

Loving the sound of the grey angora slouchy socks - where from?

God I'm going out tonight - I so do not want to go - its too cold.

I will do hair and make up and dress well and then shove big old duvet coat and rain hat on top and get there looking like a mad old woman.

Grumble, grumble and I'm driving so won't even get a glass of wine - shall I grumble some more

I have been to work and am wearing dark purple thick opaque tights from M&S, dark purple floral tunic/dress from Joues, Dark grey boyfriend cardigan from Boden and tan leather riding boots from Clarks.
Today is a good day, even if I say so myself

Today and many days it's:

Boden mac from a year or two ago (purple and red print)
hi-viz waistcoat (I make the DCs wear them on their bikes, so...)
purple wellies (with added sheepskin insoles, mm-mmmm)
Yakkay bicycle helmet (multicoloured tweed trilby)
purple chenille gloves (got some waterproof ones on order)
tights and trousers
heat tech poloneck top
cashmere cardi

I don't bother applying makeup till I get to work, as it just gets eroded on the bike.

If it's really chucking it down I wear my Altura "Night Vision" waterproof trousers.

All of which means when I get to work I can look human again in no time!

belligerentghoul the socks were a christmas present last year, not sure where from, possibly hush? - but have seen lots similar in the shops recently (even in M&S).

Today it's legwarmers for even toastier feet and ankles (and more 1980s vibes)

Thanks. I was reduced to slinging a pair of black trousers and a black top on for work today, with black shoes - so I do not belong on s&b at the moment! Shuffles over to the unimaginative dressers board.
