What shoes with this dress, please?

I bought this dress in New Look today, I have two christmas parties to go to. What do I wear on my feet please? It's almost down to the floor if that makes any difference. TIA

I reckon silver or black open toed sandals. My bridesmaids wore silver jewelled kitten heeled ones with a long purple dress.
