What is the tights answer for a middle aged woman wearing a skirt suit and heels?

Fishnets ?

Really, please help. IMO they're all horrible, apart from maybe the fishnets, but not sure they're Ok for work

Good quality nude tights are the best. I'm a recent convert to the glossy ones (M&S do some nice Autograph ones for £4.50 a pop but Boots 3 pack for £7 or so are pretty good too) - they're very flattering and avoid the Nora Batty ankle look.
