I am thinking about Chanel nail polish Rouge Noir but is £16.50 just a stupid amount for nail polish?

Some people would pay that and not think twice but if you think it's too much just tell yourself that's what a Christmas list is for!

By the same token I once asked my ILs for Chanel handcream as I'd never spend that sort of money on handcream myself. Naturally they bought body cream instead!

well I think 6x as I look at Rimmel for £3.99!

Or I think of what else I could have for £16.50. Like a tub of REN body cream.

Why do I have such a martyr complex?

I always have a gift list drawn up in good time - Nothing significant that I am wanting - just a few treats really.
