What the best mascara?

Just for day to day wear, not one that makes me look like I am wearing 3 sets of false lashes.

The one I wear at the moment seems to smudge a bit as the day goes on but it is only a cheapy boots No7 one.

Don't mind paying a bit more for one that doesn't smudge.

have switched to dior show from hypnose

It lasts me around 6 months and I wear mascara every day. I would throw it out after 6 months anyway because of all those bacteria horror stories (gross)

don't you find Maybelline very kind of hard? It reminds me of the Loreal Architect I have just tried- it seemed to make my eye lashes really brittle and spidery.

Purplepeony - I've only tried the Great Lash and the Colossal Volum Express - the latter did make my lashes spidery but the Great Lash doesn't, and doesn't clump or clog while applying it - only mascara I've found that doesn't. I'm fairly certain I would love Chantecaille too (have clicked on the link and I like that kind of brush) but I am not going to find out!

I love Chantecaille mascara, fab stuff.

Having said that I'm currently wearing mascara I got for 50p down the market.

I honestly like it.

Dior and YSL make fantastic mascaras. I'm currently regretting buying Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara - it looks great on but is SO hard to get off. I use a professional eye make up remover that works on seemingly everything else except this stuff - I end up using eye make up remover, then Cleanse and Polish, then more eye make up remover, then yet more eye make up remover on my panda eyes in the morning. Grr.

Diorshow every time.

2nd place to any of the Lancome mascaras.

Big Fatty by Urban Decay..
No other mascara I have ever used comes close to this one.

Bad Gal by Benefit is THE best I've ever used. It's £15-16. I've bought a 35 quid one from Sisley that wasn't a patch on Bad Gal!
