Any advice? What's the best method?

had mine done at dentist with custom made moulds . cost £400 but the blighters have had a 50% off offer this year!

Got 3 appts includd in that plus extra gel. Mine doesn't approve of laser whitening- said too harsh.

Mine have lightened by 50%- were very cream ( yellow) and are now lighter cream- not white white but def. better.

I'm in the middle of doing it now! Am on day 3. I'm doing it through the dentist at work who only uses this gel called Polanight. It was £300 for the course.
She made moulds of my teeth and then these bleaching trays came back, basically you put a few little drops of the gel (for each tooth) into the tray then leave it in for 2 hours minimum. I got the 10% actives one which is the most gentle, it goes all the way up to 30% actives.
So far even after 2 goes I can see that my teeth are much whiter Grin.
There is some sensitivity but the dentist also gave me some colgate pro-relief toothpaste to put on after the bleaching.

Whatever you do, do NOT buy some dodgy home-bleach kit over the internet... they could burn your gums and ruin your enamel.

My gel was 22%- left on for 1-2 hrs a day for about 2 weeks.

Have bought more gel and am going to use again- 18 months since i had them done.

Thanks for this. I was going to go for trays but I wanted confirmation it was worth the expense.

I've just started the Britesmile treatment. £395.00 (reduced on special offer from £595.00). I've had the trays for 4 days now and wear them overnight. You put small amount of gel into each tooth, not too much though! Going to my dentist on Monday to have the uv light treatment for 1 1/2 hours in the surgery, followed up by wearing the trays for a week after that. Already after 4 days, they are loads whiter. Excited to see what the end result will be!! :)
