November wedding - please help me find something to wear!!

I am going to a wedding in less than two weeks and have nothing at all to wear.

I am a size 12 and definitely an apple shape.

Not only are we completely broke at the moment, but I have just found out I'm pregnant with DC2, so really can't splash the cash on something I potentially won't wear again for a year or more.

If money wasn't an option, I'd buy this and team it with a black belt, black shoes and accessories.

I fear this is a hopeless case - can anyone offer any help at all?!

Well, have been looking for something to suit your budget and needs. Not sure about apple shapes so looked up this.
Are you sure there is nothing you could revamp in your wardrobe already?

Meggles76 · 04/11/2010 20:24

I would definitely try and revamp a dress that you already have and spend your money on new accessories that you will be able to wear again throughout your pregnancy

Thank you! The stuff on apple shapes is interesting.

I have looked again and again at what I already have, but because I'm two dress sizes bigger now that I was before I had DS, it is slim-pickings. I have a lovely wedding outfit that is very summery (flowery dress, cream belt, cream shoes, no cardigan or wrap) but I keep thinking in order to buy accessories that might winter-it-up a bit, I may as well spend the money on a new dress.

Otherwise, I've had little call for anything particularly nice to wear since DS was born!!

Thank you for having a look, though!

Have you tried doing a search on Ebay? There seems to be (new) dresses for every occasion and at very reasonable prices...

Thanks for those! I quite like the last one. I'm also trekking through eBay myself - good idea!
