For an interior designer friend (i.e. not any old crap and definitely not old-ladyish). Budget of £20. She likes mules but not of the naughty housewife see through negligee variety. Must accessorise with beautiful home in various shades of duck egg blue

I found some nice ones in M&S a few years ago, non-tarty mules in a Chinese print. Don't know if they still do things like that? Have you tried M&S?

Honestly, M&S was the last place I would have thought of looking, but some of them are actually quite nice

These are my favourites at the moment And very warm. They are a bit tight for the first few days, but then loosen up and fit your foot shape
