How to stop faux fur coat 'malting'?!

I bought a gorgeous faux fur coat yesterday but it is malting all over my other clothes! Will this stop or just carry on til the coat is bald... Love the coat though so any suggestions welcome!

Do you mean moulting? (I think malting is something they do in brewing )

I think if it's going to come out, it's going to come out....maybe try running over it with one of those sticky things that pick up hair off your clothes to get the loose ones?
