Brogues

These Dune brogues arrived today - look great online but in reality they're a bit thin and insubstantial and not very comfortable. Anyone seen any of a sturdier nature? Brown or tan ideally.

They had some nice ones in Russell and Bromley when I was in there yesterday - sorry, their website is rubbish so I can't link and I can't remember the price but if you're near a R&B it might be worth a look.

What size are your feet? Men's brogues are prob more substantial. And men's shoes give your toes more room, oh bliss!

I've got Clarks ones Blush which are really comfy and warm

Ahhh, I wondered about looking at men's - opens a whole new world of shoes Smile. I'm a 4.5 so could maybe even look at posh boys sites
The Dune ones were £80 but would be willing to spend a little more for something really comfy that could be worn sans socks. No R&B here unfortunately but we do have a Clarks.

I have tried on MANY pairs.....

Most of them were too mannish for me (I am tall and a size 6/7).

Schuch have lovely Red or Dread ones with ribbon laces - they were my fav but not in my size so I got the next patent ones which are ok but not perfect.

The Russell and Bromley ones are fab but are £185 which is too expensive for me.

Hope you get a pair
