Continuing on with taller ladies; where to buy reasonably priced boots that reach the top of the calf and not the usual 3" below.

I'm loving all the styles out at the moment (riding etc) but where to buy so they actually look like they're supposed to look!

Long Tall Sally (not one of my favoured shops) do some boots that look ok. However you do have to have big feet as well as be tall. I am 5ft 11 but my feet aren't big enough (they start from a 7)

Oh i'd love to know too. I always have wanted some knee highs that are actually that a d not mid calf. So although I'm no help I can offer a bump

I'm 5'11 and got some lovely ones from Long Tall Sally last season - they're the only ones I've ever had which actually reach my knees. Very comfy as well. Although I have to say, the ones I've seen this season leave a bit to be desired!

Good luck and let us know if you find somewhere.........

I am not tall by any stretch of the meaning but I do find boots always stop too short on my calf and look wrong.
However I tried these on in marks and they were long enough and right up to my knees. May not be to your taste though. They look nicer in rl btw.

Thanks for the replies (so far...ever hopeful). I have seen the LTS website and quite like the look of the Ditto & McCreadie boot. I was hoping that there would be more of a choice tbh. Fingers crossed someone will bob on with a marvellous website, loads of choice and reasonably priced!

you know, this is a problem for us shorties too. Boots look SO much better on me if they are very near the knee, but most fall at least a couple of inches below.

chandellina - fingers crossed for us all
