Taller ladies, how do you find a mini dress that won't get you arrested for indecent exposure when you step out in public?

I've been trying to find a dress for the Christmas party season and love all the mini style dresses that are in the shops at the moment. The problem is I'm 5'10 and have fairly large boobs so all dresses that I try on barely cover my modesty!

Where can I look for one? I normally find the Tall section of shops such as New Look fairly uninspiring. I might have to resort to a skirt and top but had my heart set on a dress!

Either wear the dress with leggings or buy a longer one

Have a look on Ebay for the Long Tall Sally brand.

Also wear leggings or thick black tights underneath.

The dresses in this sale are so cheap that you could buy a selection to try on then Ebay the rejected ones at full price. Also cheap and quirky enough to customise eg increase strap length, add a longer gauzy petticoat layer etc.

Forlorn, I never thought about looking at Next online, I didn't realise they had a tall section, there is some gorgeous stuff there!

I like mini dresses, my legs are the one part of my body I actually like. They have always been quite toned and are fairly long - the rest of my body is a bit of mess so might as well show off my good side

Wear leggings, and the boden mini skirtlength comes up long

I've just got one of the Yumi dresses off Brandalley, and it is short on me (5ft 4) - I would not contemplate going out without something under it!! Mind you, I do have disgusting legs so that might account for it.
