joules wellies-sizes?

Hi,

I'm about to buy some wellies for myself and my daughters and didn't want to get the wrong sizes! Does anyone know if I need to order their usual size or if they come up bigger or smaller than normal shoe size??

To go the opposite to pixie I found them big ! im a 4, ordered a 4 and in fact could have got away with cheaper kids 3

Oopps pixie, didn't read op correctly ! Didn't read that she was asking about the kids sizes ....

Kids sizes I find very odd - admittedly we sized them to fit over normal socks plus fluffy wellie socks, but last winter Dd (shoe size 13) ended up in a size 3 (!!!!!!) and Ds (shoe size 11) in a size 1.

The adult ones looked a little more normal, I thought, but as I'd need a 9, which they don't do for ladies, I didn't try any on...

Kids' sizes, sorry....... - think I was distracted by having to dwell on my enormous hooves.....

Thanks for all the input-I'm so glad I asked before ordering! Although I am now thinking I will seek out a stockist and take the kids to try some on!
