Does anyone elses skin start to dry out and then peel off like sunburn after a brazillian wax?

I have been meaning to ask for a while but keep forgetting.

It is quite fun to peel off but really it is quite icky.

why on earth do you get a brazilian

Why do I dye me hair?
No idea. Same reason I wax.
Felt like a change. I dont go totally bald. That is nasty. I am neither a porn star of an 8 year old.

I just get a bit red and spotty for a day or two.

I'm interested in the waxing idea though as I totally can't get my head around it and yet lots of people I know are doing it all the time.

It is a fad I think. Give it ten years and probably no one will be doing anything. Having a huge bush will be cool .

Maybe it is just the change in season perhaps.

Just to open up the debate a bit- why DO porn stars have it all waxed? even the men? Yuck.

OP- have no idea as all mine is ever going to get is a quick trim round the edges. DH says he cannot abide the nude look.

I remember looking at my Grandfathers porn stash when I found it (yes gross icky I know) and all the women were very hairy. This would have been 1987 or so.

I think now they are hairfree because people are waxing more and more and it gives a better shot of penetration when filming.

Considering that they have to photoshop the labia (cant show the 'inner workings' so to speak) anyway in print porn makes me wonder why bother.

Men do it so their penises look bigger.

I don't think it does make men's penises look bigger- to be blunt, they could wax their willies and leave the balls and pubes alone.

I think on women it means you can see everything which makes it look like a medical programme- sorry but you can tell it doesn't work for me!

It's funny- my generation ( prob older than you) used to be outraged that full shaving was the norm during labour, presumably because it was a sign of sexuality ( though the excuse was it was cleaner)- our mothers had to endure it- and it was a sign of liberation that we refused to remove our pubes during delivery.
How things change.

I don't take it all off. I used to just do the edges that gradually did more and more.

Most times I don't do anything. I mean, this is the first time I have had it done in about 4 months.

I am trying to slow the growth down though. I barely have hair on my legs. My arm hair is blonde. My underarm hair grows really slowly but head hair and pubes seem to resemble a 70's Mediterranean style porn star.
