I seldom get 40th invites now though. Too old.

Umm, do I have good boobs?
If I did I would get a voluptuous Vivienne Westwood style thing.

I don't. I have no boobs and really good shoulders and arms so I wear something that is all about the straps and the back and can be tent like everytwhere else

I am WAYYYYYYYYYH past 40! This is my glamorous, beautiful niece's 18th, and it's a 1940's theme - sorry, didn't make myself clear.

Don't think I could carry off voluptuous in front of all the lovely young things that'll be there. Maybe I sould go in drag and dress as a GI!

What budget, what sort of size. WQhere do you usually go.

Mango have some nice 40s bits that are not to pricey.

I would either go to somewhere like LK Bennett for a splash out dress. Or go to Mango or somehwere High street and get a beautiful skirt them work a classy silky blouse and some pearls, little cardy just over the shoulders.
