Please can you give me your advice on what to wear with this dress?

Going to a christmas wedding.

Have this dress here.

Can anyone recommend what to do accessory-wise please? I'm thinking the dress has a lot on it so prob don't need jewelley. What shoes would you wear though?

Can I get away with black tights? It's a posh do.

Also, can anyone recommend any scaffolding underwear for underneath that can hold me in a bit? Have a bit of a belly so that's the main problem.

Oh, I meant to say, I already have some paler pink heels with flowers on them. Would a lighter pink be ok to wear, or should I go for black heels?

Yes the shoues are closed toes. I'm thinking maybe the dress is quite fussy so maybe just quite plain black heels?

I tried to get the blue too but it was all sold out. I do like the pink too though. Just need to sort something out undewear-wise so I feel confident in it. I normally stick to black for dresses but it's a wedding and I wanted to look weddingy not xmas partyish.

I'd go for something like this if you want to wear black tights:

or these...yum!

What I mean is, don't go for the obvious - i.e. black/purple to match the dress. Go for a contrasting colour and minimal or no jewellery (and closed toes with black tights.

And as for the underwear, you can't beat a pair of Spanx!!

The dress isn't really bright, or have any prints or anything...I think you could definitely get away with another colour, black can be a bit boring I think.....

Do Spanx do body suit kind of things do you know? I can't wear the shorts - just get a roll of muffin tops below my boobs if I do that.
