i know it isn't a lot of money at all, but i never buy myself clothes so to me it is something i would never usually have.

i am 5'3", size 10/12, 24 years old.

i want something that i will get good wear out of and hopefully wont go out of fashion quickly. i am useless at choosing my own clothes.
what should i buy?

I'm 24, 5'3" and size 12 too and just bought this to wear with tights and boots.

Don't know how well it washes as it's still sat in the wardrobe due to me not actually thinking how I was going to bf my 6week old in it lol.

It looks lovely on and actually feels quite soft. They have grey and black too. You could mix it with plain long sleeve tee's and different coloured tights which would take you through the colder months anyway??

Lovely dress - and in the tall section so you know it will actually be a dress and not just a tunic :)

APixieInMyTea · 31/10/2010 21:54

You know, I never even noticed it was in the tall section. It sits just above my knee which was fine by me as usually I'm pulling those sods of dresses down constantly to try hide my bum Grin

APixieInMyTea · 31/10/2010 21:55

sorts not sods but they are sods when they're supposed to be dresses but really aren't....

ooh, that looks lovely. i also have the breastfeeding issue aswell. although ds is mostly just feeding morning and evening now so it mightn't be a problem during the day. what sort of boots do you have? i only have silly fake black uggs or a pair of mid calf biker boots but I'mnot sure if they'd go with that. i have a feeling i would look short wearing that with flats.

I've got knee legnth brown flat riding boots and think it looks ok which is why I got that colour.

I am looking into flat black biker boots and would've got the black dressif I and them and worn a pair of coloured tights to brighten up the outfit more but until I can afford the boots I want I'm quite happy sticking with the neutral colours.

I think your mid calf biker boots would be fine if you went for the black or grey colour with the dress.

Ps: I have no idea about fasion at all hence the reason I'm on here but I hope I've been picking up
some tips and if not, well, I'm sure someone will come along and correct me. Grin

Sorry about typo's, on iPhone and bf ds2 at same time.

booooooooooyhoo · 31/10/2010 22:13

do you think they would look ok then? i might go down to our local NL wearing them and see if they have this dress to try on.

I think their pumps are great at the moment. Leather too. Their great imitation cowboy boots are very comfy. I wear mine all the time.
