Should I buy these Uggs?

I am in the USA on a work trip and have fallen in love with these Uggs - and they are $160 instead of 160 quid.

Talk me out of it! (or into it!) Does anyone have a pair? do you think they look a bit different to the usual style?

If you don't get them expect to pay £180 in the uk and then struggle to get the size and colour you want, and regret getting them!!

I think they are great - they look less slipper-like than the classic UGGs.

If I were you I would get them but obviously you won't be able to take them back so they have to fit perfectly etc. Also be sure to get them somewhere where you can be sure they're genuine UGGs.

Apologies for stating the obvious btw, but I know sometimes I need someone to do that for me!

So I bought them! I just can't resist a bargain and with sales tax they came to $170 instead of 180 pounds!

Lucky you! I've been eyeing those up this year, they've been growing and growing on me but I've chickend out and just ordered some new classics.

Make sure you wear them in so they dont charge you VAT on the way back in!

No worries Tattie - I threw out all packaging and wore them on the flight home and strolled through customs without incident. Made sure I was behind the woman in head-to-toe Juicy Couture carrying a brand new Vuitton handbag so that my Uggs would go un noticed...

I have never owned a pair of Uggs before, but these are SO comfy - warm and cosy, and the rubber sole and toe cap means they are more waterproof. I can highly recommend them.
