Puffball skirts - will you be trying them?

They are back. The puffball is deflated compared to the 80s version. I quite like the ones I have seen but it's such a big leap.......

colditz · 15/09/2005 13:13

PMSL.... er, NO! Yak yak yak! would rather have a muffin belly!

Lucycat · 15/09/2005 13:19

Didn't wear them when I was 17, so certainly not going to wear them now, a few (ahem!) years later!

Jackstini · 15/09/2005 13:19

Not a chance - looked enough of a tw*t last time round. Had one bought for my 13th birthday and Mum forced me to wear it to my party... cringe

weesaidie · 15/09/2005 13:22

no thanks... why? why? why?

puddle · 15/09/2005 13:22

I'm on my own with this one then. I'll be off then to check on my 'waterproof coat with hood thread' (to wear with puffball obviously)

Nope. Had one in the 80's and it was awful then. I reckon that I am too old at 39 to follow fashion slavishly - just stick to what suits me. Didn't buy a gipsy skirt either .

bonym · 15/09/2005 13:28

Eurgh - that cord tulip skirt is VILE [grimace emoticon]. I shall be sniggering behind my hand at anyone I see wearing one of those .

peckarollover · 16/09/2005 17:55

I like them but not that Topshop one

Gobbledigook · 16/09/2005 17:57

No way, no how. Didn't wear them first time either - thanks to JT's good fashion sense - hurrah!

Laughable!
Absolutely hideous. Even on models.
