i am going to try to explain a colour.....

i want a cardigan, longish i think, and may be with a belt, but most important is the colour

think navy but a bit more 'jewelly', deffo not electric blue, nor a soft blue, nor a teal, sort of like navy but not as dark as navy

i have searched in vain, also having to do it all on the internet it's hard to see the specific shade

does my description make sense, and has anyone seen one?

Hmmm... Love conundrums like this.
Cobalt blue maybe? Google it and look in images, there are some nice blues there.
Otherwise sapphire? They are blue jewels!

thanks southeastastra, not keen on the shape of teh kew one, but the colour, well it's almost right, but still a bit bright, if that colour was mixed with a bit of navy that's the colour i see in my minds eye

i like it v much, although has imagined (you will notice a lot of imagning going on with this) something slinkier, a thin knit i suppose it would be called

It's a gorgeous colour. I've got FAB shoes from LKBennett in that shade.

I have this and I think it maybe the colour that you're looking for. Although maybe not the style.
