NOT low rise skinny jeans.. Do they exist?

I get awful muffin tops if I don't have a mid rise type jean, and I have never seen skinny jeans that aren't low rise.

If they do exist, I need them to be dark blue and not too expensive, please?
:)

kidsncatsnwine · 28/10/2010 18:42

dexter73 · 28/10/2010 18:42

How about the £12 M&S ones on a thread on here at the moment?

kidsncatsnwine · 28/10/2010 18:43

Oh and H+M.. my daughter got some fab ones there there were higher waisted. She usually prefers low rise but these were such a good fit!

Purplebuns · 28/10/2010 18:49

Ooh great, I live in a small town so can only do online, as I hardly get a chance to go shopping in our local city :(

I bought some jeggings in Primark for £6 (!) and they are much better than skinny jeans if you're going to wear a long t-shirt or jumper with some clompy boots imho. I bought them a size smaller than normal so they're nice and tight and they don't go wrinkly at the knees like my much more expensive Topshop Jamie jeans.....and no muffin top.

Meggles76 · 28/10/2010 20:34

NEXT and NEW LOOK both have them in right now

monkeysmama · 28/10/2010 22:48

Look on EBay for Nudie High Kai jeans. They're skinny, dark rinsed and high waisted. The only jeans ever to have held my muffinage at bay, been properly skinny and not gone baggy on the knees. I love them.

I recently got some in Dorothy Perkins for just £15. They have various sorts and colours.

Havingkittens · 29/10/2010 12:10

Uniqlo skinny jeans go baggy in no time.

I have my eye on these. I might go and try them today. Only thing is I don't know how long they go to which is why I don't want to order online.

If you are tall, then the tall jamie jeans from Topshop (leg length 36") are really good and cover a muffin top nicely. Even if you are not tall, turn-ups or rolled up bottoms are big at the moment, and if you are only going to tuck them in boots it won't be too bad anyway. They are ultra skinny, proper denim (as opposed to jeggings) but also have stretch.

howdidthishappentome · 29/10/2010 19:07

woopsidaisy · 29/10/2010 19:09

TotorosOcarina · 29/10/2010 19:10

TotorosOcarina · 29/10/2010 19:11

they do them in petite and tall too, if you type 'molly jean'

gorehaginhellsbum · 30/10/2010 14:32

No more muffins top! I'm sure these are the ones meggles and how mean?

Purplebuns · 30/10/2010 17:13

Hi, thank you all! I have a brief shop today and the only ones I found were in Tesco! I rejected these though as they were all wrinkly around my knees, not very attractive Confused
I think I will order the Next ones and hope that they will work as they look good :)

New Look jeans are veh good, and cheap as chips

Purplebuns · 30/10/2010 17:24

I went in there but they only had low rise skinnies and Dorothy Perkins and Peacocks and that is all the shops in town! Only Tescos had them that were higher in the waistline :)
