the topshop ones aren't great - the laceup isn't very nice.

I can see why you might have thought about it and I did think the others were being harsh and then I looked- I really tried to see them in a positive light ie perhaps if you have long legs and with a short skirt etc etc but I just don't know.

I nearly bought some shoes on ebay once (I thought they were sort of ironic comfy shoes) til my sister told me that my nana had the exact same ones...

I think there are much nicer options available.
