Covering Acne

I have just discovered an excellent blog (with videos) by make up artist Lisa Eldridge, I have just watched most of the videos and can definitely recommend the 'Removing Make Up' one and the 'Covering Acne' one.
They're available on You Tube too.
I think anyone out there with a self conscious, spot prone, teenage daughter should have a look. Thankfully I grew out of my Acne (without scarring) but I would love to have had someone show me how to hide it!

laura mercier concealer is very very good for this.

Also why not have a look at my anti-acne brigade thread

That Vichy concealer/foundation looks magical. I want. I wonder if Boots see it?

sorry I wonder if Boots sells it

I've not even googled it yet, but it's a Vichy-Dermablend mix. Dermablend is the stuff they use to hide scarring, birthmarks, tattoos etc... So I'm not surprised it's good stuff. I definitely want some!

Apparently Boots do sell it Guaca. I want some of that La Roche Posay stuff too.

I would like to see LE do one for rosacea as I think this is far harder to cover than acne. The model she uses actually has amazing skin with just a few spots.

Only bigger Boots sell La Roche Posay, I recently bought a facewash gel... I can't remember exactly which one and I'm breastfeeding at the moment so can't go upstairs to look, but I'm rather impressed with it so far.
I want to try the make up remover, I think she said it was Bioderm? I currently use a Lancome one which is one of those ones you shake to mix and I find it quite oily.

I think they have LRP in one of the Boots near me so will have to have a look. Face wash gel sounds good too, I need a new one. Pls let me know what it is if you get the chance!

I havent watched the makeup removal one yet. I have an oily lancome one too - good for eye makeup.

I watched the bridal one the other day as I'm in a wedding coming up and now I want the super expensive foundation she uses. Sigh.
