Can't find any casual but smartish jackets I like in the shops................

The military style ones with high necks and lots of buttons make me look v matronly or I can't do em up (large breasts).

There are lots of others that are sort of denim but not that make me look like bag lady.

Then there's corduroy which I just don't do.

Eek! Any Ideas?

I know what you mean about the big busters, I have that problem.

I bought a lovely black waist length velvet jacket in Peacocks for £18 and they also had the same style but in khaki and beige.

I agree that velvet blazer would be v. handy

but I also quite like the tweed 'wendy' jacket in sobernow's link - and you could draw attention to your cleavage with that cut - lucky thing!

Think maybe a dark velvet (non military is the way to go). I did see a lovely light, short coat in Wallis - £100 but looked more expensive and can be dressed up or down. Might still go for that.
