....and realised EVERYTHING is black or grey.
EVERYTHING.
Now all the summer stuff is packed away, I am faced with a wall of darkness.
Am I alone?

I am faced with black, charcoal, light grey, dark purple and navy.... I have bought a few T-shirt tops from Boden in brighter colours to lighten the mood a bit!!

You just described 90% of my wardrobe. Am trying to brighten it up a bit though with some tunic style dresses with 'real' colours and ... patterns... I like living dangerously Grin

Scarves, dahling.

Or those circular knitted thingies in jewel colours. Just bought one from Warehouse and hoping it will liven up all my grey and navy clobber. here

Me too. (well 99% of bottom halves anyway).

I sorted out my clothes and hung all the skirts together, trousers together etc.

And now there is a mass of dark where the skirts and trousers are.

No, not this year. Every year previously that's how it was, though. This year it's sulphur yellow, green, pink, blue, silver, purple.....and I'm loving it! :)

Wordsonascreen · 27/10/2010 15:35

Arf at circular knitted things

I knitted a snood for home economics twenty years ago Grin

Meggles76 · 27/10/2010 16:12

Yep, I'm with the sulphur yellow, iwilldothis Grin. currently wearing top in said colour under dark denim dress and am loving it

Ooh... what you need is a bit of navy!

Grin

Browns, greens, teals, and heathers are all good colour for this time of year
