what trousers are there that are nice for colder weather dd only really likes dresses or skirts and tights or just leggings but will be a bit cold. Never usually have to buy clothes as get handed down loads but got a bit of a gap in wardrobe at the mo. What is nice - she doesn't like tight waistbands (who does?) so jeans etc are out. Any suggestions welcome

Next have some boarders in their baby - 6 range. We have something similar from another brand and they're lovely and cosy. Lined. Elastic waist. We also have some jogger style straight leg trousers (also next) with fabric waist band that I've seen in this seasons catalogue. We've also had cords that have done really well.

Boden do lovely cords/velvet and they are very reasonable on e-bay.

DD wore hand me downs from DS until recently, when I started looking at girl trousers I ended up buying boys ones for her! I love plain trousers then a nice bright top.
