Bloody hell. the dress I ordered online to wear at my wedding has got lost in the post! By any strange chance does anyone have dress in a size 16 (or a 14 at a push) that they don't want/need? (Long shot emoticon)

I do love the dress (although agree with toto is't not typically 'wedding').

They must have plenty of these in stock so I think you're stressing over not a lot here. Just call them and get them to give you your money back or send another. it is only October.

They will have another one, the courier/mail will have to compensate them for the loss (not your concern anyway) and they will send another one...

Sorry about that reikizen. Sometimes they have limited online stock and more in the stores though, I take it you've tried calling a couple?

You never know, it might still turn up in the post (was it registered delivery or anything?).

How was it sent? What happened to the tracking? If it hasn't been "missing" long it might turn up - put on wrong van/delivery circuit etc.....

And thanks asouthwoldmummy for the hug. I am feeling better now, worse things happen at sea and all that but I hate clothes shopping and I thought I had cracked it!

i think it's a lovely dress. why the hell would you get dressed in white just because other people do? i hope you get sorted out and are able to look back on this and laugh in years to come.

People only get married in white because traditionally it showed that you could afford such an impractically coloured fabric. Well you can afford to shop in HoF. Same thing really innit?

I LOVE that dress btw. Have HoF tried to source one from another shop? I can check our local one tomorrow if you like.
