Leather Gloves

Any ideas how to refresh a pair (or rather just the one) that has got very wet and now one is crusty while the other is still soft and smooth? If not I'll get some new ones. Are M&S still good quality. My last pair were teal ones from Next and the colour rubbed off! Thanks

M&S leather gloves are getting worse quality-wise each year, but then the price is OK.
I got two pairs from Sainsbury's in the sale for £5 each. Very good and same quality (or better, actually) than M&S but only black or brown.

Thanks. Off to Sainsburys tomorrow so will have a look there and doing M&S on Saturday (subject to childcare!) so will take a look and then maybe the tack shop on the way home!

John Lewis does lots of colours of leather and suede gloves. However they are sadly not bargain basement ££. J Lewis also sells various glove cleaning 'stuff' - I got some cleaner for suede gloves but not sure what you would do with smooth leather.
