I bought this dress today for a wedding next week. It's absolutely not what I'd normally wear, but it's surprisingly flattering on. However I have noooo idea how to accessorise it. How will I keep warm?!

I will be wearing it with black opaques and black suede heels.

Link?

saltyseadog · 24/10/2010 16:42

Ahhh yes, a link - I can see how that would help :o

Oh this dress is so not me, but at the same time it is amazingly flattering (very important post-natally, and also very cheap) .

Maybe some smart kitten/high heels and a fun bracelet. All colourful, purple, green...

Longtalljosie · 24/10/2010 17:29

Yes I was going to go for a statement bracelet with purple in it too. Or a silver one if you've got a nice one that's fairly thick. Do you do heels? Black would be good.

woopsidaisy · 24/10/2010 17:55

That dress is lovely!I'd go for big earings-very in,and chunky bracelets...

bracelets

I'd go for

a massive chunky bracelet

dark purple nails

pashmina or wrap

High heels

I'd avoid kitten heels or you might look like you are going to work

What is your hair like?

Pioneer · 24/10/2010 18:10

i like this

and these

but they might be a bit £££

you get the idea though

saltyseadog · 24/10/2010 19:21

Have black heels - will end up being humongously tall with them on (6gt +!).

Yes yes to a chunky bracelet, and I think a new pashmina may be in order. What colour? I don't really want a purple pash.

MMmmmmm.....dark purple nails. How glam .

Purple and gold - very lush - try ebay for vintage/cheap shawl/wrap - can be fab for handmade jewellery as well

AlottaFagina · 24/10/2010 20:14

Pashmina - bright pink or black or turquoise

Could also go with a certain rusty colour of orange - sounds awful, but if you put the two colours together it does look good
