boots for large calves

I want some gorgeous boots to wear with little dresses and black tights. My calves are quite chunky though, can anyone recommend some really cool boots, no offence but please dont suggest Evans or Simply Be!
I've wondered as well about Ugg boots, do they go over chunky calves?

just measure your calf in jeans- and see if there's any difference

I've just ordered from Duo and still can't quite believe that a boot that will do zip up over my hugh calves is actually going to arrive, seems too good to be true. If you go through Quidco you get 7% off.

I got a pair of flat black knee length boots from a next clearance store the other week for £30, they are great and go over my calves with loads of space to spare, can even tuck my jeans in them.

YOu could always lie about where you got them from if you have a problem with saying they are from Evans.

ZEN I have a very similar DM style and they do up over my calves in jeans. My calves are 44cm diameter at the widest.

watch out for their sizing though. Their "standard" is very wide and their wider fittings are huge. The fitting info is a bit well hidden on the website but is really helpful.
