Ok so I know none of you will be wearing these because you are all super stylish non m&s shoppers and to be honest I only went in to get greek yoghurt with honey-but the £12 skinnys in the dark tint- make your rs look great (or is it just me?)

Ooooohhhhh may go and try these on tomorrow am sick of paying a fortune for skinnies only to have a baggy arse!

fairybubbles · 22/10/2010 19:40

I've got 2 pairs and they are good, they fade slightly in the wash so always wash inside out. Good for the price tho.

bananapeanutbutter · 22/10/2010 20:04

Is there a link? Which ones are they? And how skinny are they?

Rexy · 22/10/2010 22:18

Link plsSmile

If I had seen this awful styling I am pretty sure I wouldn't be convinced of their qualities, but in my defence I also found them on my way to the food hall. Now have them in indigo and they are great, comfy and they don't slide down too badly either (hate hitching up me jeans). Will be back to buy the grey ones....

tassisssss · 22/10/2010 22:34

Actually I am loving the £12 Primark ones I got a few weeks ago...I'm nearly 6 foot and amazingly they're long enough for me.

chickenmarango · 22/10/2010 22:38

I am six foot and the M&S ones are also long enough for my 34" legs (after a rummage I found the longer length ones). Also have primark skinnies but they involve a bit more hitching as they sit a bit lower on the waist, but agree they are also very good value!

tassisssss · 22/10/2010 22:43

actually I think the Primark ones were only £8. Mine sit ok on the waist. i've never had trousers from Primark before (except crops) as never long enough.

higamoushogamous · 23/10/2010 13:57

How do M&S manage to make all their really nice things look absoloutely terrible on the web site?

HowsTheSerenity · 28/10/2010 17:32

Ok so I bought some. I ama size 18.
Disturbing I know. But after seeing everyone rave about them I went to try them on - really for a laugh, but they fit and they look good for some strange reason (my fat is evenly proportioned).
So now that I have them. What do I wear witht hem? Obviously something that covers my arse and stomach and is not skin tight. Any suggestions?

Meggles76 · 28/10/2010 17:36

I think tunic style tops look good with skinnies.
also heeled shoes or tucked in to boots

BelligerentGhoul · 28/10/2010 17:43

I tried them on and hated them - they felt really unpleasant against my skin, for some reason.

1234ThumbScrew · 28/10/2010 17:44

I bought them a while ago on the strength of lots of people on here raving about them. At first I was pleased with them, but in truth I never wear them as they just don't look quite right.

TheNextMrsDracula · 28/10/2010 17:52

I bought mine in Asda. Blush

HonestyBox · 28/10/2010 19:03

[Shock] at those M&S ones. I'm sure they are really nice in real life. They look straight leg rather than skinny.

HonestyBox · 28/10/2010 19:04

Shock that is.

Wearing with loose tops is def. the way to go - think of your legs dangling out of the bottom of something to create an impression of space.
