What are your makeup essentials? And can anyone recommend a good primer for spot prone skin?

My makeup essentials:

beauty flash balm
bourjois blusher (you know in the little round pots)
and as of recently Maybelline "falsies" mascara
oh and touche éclat!

What are yours?

And does anyone have any thoughts on the primer? Have so far tried GOSH, mememe and no. 7 primers and not been keen!

What do you want the primer to do? Do you have oily or dry skin? I have dry skin and I've tried GOSH (rubbish), NARS (irritating), Laura Mercier (meh) and some other cheap primers and haven't found a good one yet. the l'oreal studio secrets one gets a lot of good reviews, want to try that one next. i sometimes use the clarins Beauty flash balm as a primer over moisturiser but couldnt use it everyday as i find it irritating.

my makeup essentials:

NARS Laguna bronzer
Clinique innocent peach blush
Maybelline volum express mascara (new formula)
Dior black wp eyeliner
MAC studio fluid fix foundation (looking for something better however)

I meant to add that the illamasqua satin finish one is meant to be good for dry spot prone skin... another one I've been meaning to hunt down.

Just boost my skin, make it look more radiant, leave a layer between me and my foundation. Even the rubbish one's I've tried have made my skin look fantastic but have brought me out in spots. My skin is not oily but it is spot prone Confused

I use Estee Lauder Idealist. Not really primer but does leave a smooth clean finish. My skin type is combination though and I do get spots and blackheads.

I have tried the new L'Oreal Studio secrets and it didn't feel as silicone-y (sorry) as some others like Smashbox. I think my skin looked a bit more even but tbh it wasn't a big difference.

My essentials:
MAC blusher
Clinique Airbrush concealer
Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm
